Profile

My role as an Education Liaison and Outreach Officer is to co-ordinate and deliver activities that motivate and inspire young people about University.  I work within the 11-16 team, planning and delivering a variety of events, including talks and workshops, to pupils in schools across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

I work closely with a team of University student ambassadors, who contribute their personal experiences of University to the sessions, helping to bring them to life and addressing many of the issues young people face when planning their future.

Prior to working at the University, I worked for several years in further education, undertaking various roles including copywriting, web design and public relations. Prior to this I worked as a Marketing Assistant for American brand Sally Hansen Nails, which was a fantastic opportunity I took up after graduating with a degree in Marketing and Design.

I love my current role and enjoy working with young people because they are fun, energetic and open to new ideas.
