EU Students - Payment of Tuition Fees


Fees can be paid in a number of ways:

  • Online by credit/debit card payment at www.port.ac.uk/webpay
  • In person at University House
  • By credit/debit card payment by telephone +44 (0) 23 9284 3301 / 3461 / 3131 (please note we do not accept Electron, American Express or Diners Club)
  • By cheque - with your student ID number, full name and home address written on the back*
  • By Direct Debit - an electronic version of the Direct Debit instruction is available at www.port.ac.uk/webpay/directdebit
  • By bank transfer

If you decide to send money to the University via a bank transfer, please ensure that you include your full name and Student ID Number and that you send a completed copy of the Student Remittance Form to the Finance Office. It is important that we can identify how your payment should be allocated, especially if you are paying a deposit on tuition fees and a deposit on accommodation in the same transfer.

Please ensure you complete and send a copy of the Student Remittance Form with your payment.

Students choosing to pay their tuition fees via Direct Debit are required to pay five equal instalments at the beginning of November, December, January, February and March. Students will be sent direct debit forms along with their Certificate of Final Acceptance. Please note that you must have a UK current bank account in order for the direct debit facility to be set up.
