Staff from the University will be visiting Bulgaria in February.  Afroditi Karapalidou (International Office) will be attending the World Education Fair organised by Integral. Please visit our stand at the event to receive advice and materials for applying to study at the University of Portsmouth:

World Education Fair

Friday 15 and Saturday 16 February - Sofia, 1000 - 1800 hrs
at the Sheraton Sofia Balkan Hotel, 5 Sveta Nedelya Square, Sofia 1000 

Applying for BA/BSc Degree:

Diploma za Sredno Obrazovanie - with a score between 5.5 and 5.8 including State Exam for most courses.

Applying for MA/MSc Degree:

Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 4.8. The exact grade will depend on the specific degree course you are applying for. Some courses will also require you to have studied relevant subjects. Please see our full course list for more details.

English Language requirements:

We accept IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE  and several other certificates.  The required score will depend on your level of entry and your chosen course. Please visit English language requirements for more details. For information on examination dates, please visit the British Council Bulgaria website.

International University College offers four University of Portsmouth programmes, which are run on campus in Sofia:
