Entry requirements
We are happy to consider overseas applications on a case by case basis. As a general guide:
Undergraduate:
To be considered for an undergraduate degree, you should hold a good Senior Secondary School Certificate or the West African Senior School Certificate, AND a recognised International Foundation Year (IFY). We accept 5 SSCE/WASSCE credits (including mathematics and English language) with minimum grades of 1-6 or A-D in relevant subjects.
A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate are also accepted. Students with satisfactory academic performance at Ordinary National Diploma (OND) will be considered for relevant undergraduate degree programmes.
Students with a good Higher National Diploma (HND) may be considered for advanced entry onto a relevant undergraduate degree programme. Students with certificates and diplomas from accredited partners including APTECH, NCC and Informatics can progress onto certain degree programmes outlined in the progression agreement with the partner institution.
We generally consider basic vocational qualifications including City and Guilds/RSA and teaching certificates for relevant International Foundation pathways. However, we are happy to consider strong and mature applicants for direct entry onto an undergraduate degree programme on a case by case basis.
Postgraduate:
Students should hold a good Bachelor's degree from a Ghanaian university with Second Class Lower (2.2) or above. However, some courses require a higher overall CGPA. We are happy to consider applications with a slightly lower GPA on a case by case basis.
For entry onto our MBA International, students should have a Second Class Upper and at least 3 years relevant work experience after graduation in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Work experience is also required for several other postgraduate courses and many courses will require you to have studied relevant subjects. Please see our full course list for more details.
