From 1 November 2012, Indian students planning to study in the UK will need to obtain a TB Clearance Certificate before they can apply for the Tier 4 Student Visa. We recommend that students obtain these as soon as possible to avoid delays with the visa application process.

The TB Clearance Certificate new requirements WILL NOT affect students travelling to the UK in September 2012 for the upcoming intake of students. This WILL affect students applying for January 2013 and September 2013 start dates.

TB Clearance Certificates are issued by UKBA-approved clinics.

We are happy to consider overseas applications on a case by case basis.  As a general guide:

Undergraduate

To be considered for an undergraduate degree, you must have achieved an average of 80% or above in the 12 Standard (State Board) examinations or 75% in the Central Board.

A-Levels and International Baccalaureate are also accepted. 

Applicants with a good Higher National Diploma (HND) may be considered for advanced entry onto a relevant undergraduate programme. Applicants with certificates and diplomas from accredited partners including APTECH, NCC and Informatics can progress onto certain degree programmes outlined in the progression agreement with the partner institution.

Applicants who have progressed from 10th Standard to recognised three year diplomas may be considered for entry to the second year of relevant programmes if they achieve 60% or above during their diploma studies. IELTS or equivalent will also be required. Please see our course list for more details.

Postgraduate

Applicants should hold a good Bachelor Degree from a recognised University with second class or above. Some courses require a higher overall CGPA.

For entry onto our MBA International, applicants will also need 3 years relevant work experience after graduation in a managerial or supervisory capacity. Work experience is also required for several other postgraduate courses. IELTS or equivalent will also be required. Please see our course list for more details. 

PhD

Applicants holding a good Masters Degree will be considered for PhD study upon submission of a research proprosal. Please visit our Graduate School pages for information on specific areas of research.

English Language requirements:

We accept IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE  and several other certificates. The required score will depend on your level of entry and your chosen course.  Please visit English language requirements for more details. We offer Pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who do not yet meet the required English level for entry onto our degree courses.
