Transfer applicants:
The University of Portsmouth welcomes applications for transfer admission. Applications for transfer admissions are considered from students who have completed their secondary school education and are enrolled at a college or university and have earned credit for academic courses. Credit must be from courses relevant to the major you wish to study at Portsmouth and students will only be accepted for transfer if they demonstrate sufficient subject knowledge in the specified major. If students have achieved credit, but intend to apply for an unrelated major, it is likely that acceptance will only be for year 1.
Please note that transfer students can be admitted in the Fall term only.
Graduate applicants:
Bachelor's degree with GPA of 2.6 /4 or above
Some courses require higher grades. For entry onto our MBA International, students will also need at least 3 years relevant work experience after graduation. Work experience is also required for several other postgraduate courses and many courses will require you to have studied relevant subjects. Please see our full course list for more details.
