- To help you find your way around the University and the City
- To tell you about the many support services we offer international students
- To introduce you to University academic and support staff
- To give you an opportunity to get to know other students
- To give you an introduction to study methods used during the course

Further Advice
Late arriving students
You will notice on your Visa Letter that term commences Monday 8 February and that the final date for registering on your course is Monday 22 February. If your visa has been delayed for reasons beyond your control, please contact the International Office or your agent IMMEDIATELY so that we can assess your situation.
Please also email international.housing@port.ac.uk if you have been offered University accommodation to inform Student Housing of your late arrival. They will then be able to advise you accordingly on your housing options.
