These links have been established to enable the University of Portsmouth to offer its undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses to students based outside the UK without compromising the quality of the programmes delivered.

Association of Business Executives qualifications are internationally recognised and delivered at centres all over the world.  The University of Portsmouth has a global agreement with ABE and provides a range of pathways for students who are seeking to top up their ABE qualification to a relevant degree in the subjects detailed in the following document:

ABE Progression Pathways

For more than five years, we have worked with APTECH to provide advanced progression paths for APTECH ACCP programme graduates. APTECH graduates with Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering are eligible to progress to the final year of a number of courses at the University of Portsmouth. Many APTECH and University of Portsmouth graduates have gone on to enjoy very rewarding careers in industry. We also provide progression routes for APTECH ARENA graduates.

Edexcel offers a variety of qualifications, including A levels (GCEs), GCSEs and the BTEC suite of vocational qualifications. Edexcel is an international organisation with centres all over the world.  The University of Portsmouth provides a range of pathways for BTEC Higher National Diploma graduates in the following subjects who are seeking to top up their HND to a degree:

The University of Portsmouth has worked with Informatics Education for more than 10 years, jointly providing courses through Informatics Global Campus.  Courses are delivered both on campus in Singapore, as well as to homes and centres throughout Asia and the rest of the world. Students completing Informatic’s qualifications are also able to apply to the wide variety of University of Portsmouth courses.

Together, Informatics and the University provide opportunities for widening participation and lifelong learning in the tertiary education sector, to students who might otherwise have been excluded from higher education. Graduates from our courses have gone on to work all over the world and to study for higher degrees in a number of respected universities, worldwide.
