Pre-departure Briefing

British Council Thailand is holding a pre-departure briefing for UK institution offer holders.  The briefing will provide participants with essential information on studying and living in the UK, the UK visa application, and travel and financial information. There will be a session where famous and successful alumni will come to share their experience of studying and living in the UK.  Details on how to book can be obtained from the British Council Thailand website.

Programme:

1200-1300 hrs - Registration 
1300-1400 hrs - Briefing on 'What to do and what to expect' in the UK by British Council; visa application and IOM. 
1400-1430 hrs - Coffee Break 
1430-1600 hrs - Briefing on traveling to the UK, finances and meet with UK alumni.

British Council's Alumni Network

The Thailand-UK Alumni Network is for Thai students who are UK alumni.  The network enables you to stay in touch with each other and offers the chance to be involved in various activities and events throughout the year, including the  Alumni Grand Reunion Party and Career Match Making event. The Career Match Making event is a special service to provide opportunities for UK alumni to find jobs at leading Thai and foreign organisations such as Unilever and Contact Singapore.

Entry requirements

We are happy to consider overseas applications on a case by case basis.  As a general guide:

Foundation:

Completion of Matayom 5 with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Undergraduate:

A minimum of 3 A-Levels. This will be based on UCAS tariff point equivalency, including subject specific requirements where appropriate.

Or successful completion of a recognised foundation programme. 

Postgraduate:

We generally require a Bachelor degree with a  good GPA. Each application will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

For entry onto our MBA International, students will also need at least 3 years relevant work experience after graduation in a managerial or supervisory capacity.  Work experience is also required for several other postgraduate courses and many courses will require you to have studied relevant subjects. Please see our full course list for more details.

Please note that all applications are considered individually and certain courses may accept students onto a Masters programme with a lower level degree if they have relevant work experience. Pre-masters programmes are available at ICP for a number of courses.

PhD:

Students holding a good Masters Degree will be considered for PhD study upon submission of a research proposal.  Please visit our Graduate School pages for information on specific areas of research.

English Language requirements:

We accept IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE  and several other certificates. The required score will depend on your level of entry and your chosen course. Please visit English language requirements for more details. We offer Pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who do not yet meet the required English level for entry onto our degree courses.
