The Library website has moved to a shorter URL (www.port.ac.uk/library/).
We have also re-named some sections ... here's a quick guide to our new sections:
- Library Home Page
- Online Resources
- When we launch our new home page, most of our online resources will be searchable from the home page, The Online Resources section will remain as it is for accessible searching.
- Library Essentials
- Everything to do with visiting us, including opening hours, membership, joining, layout, print collections, zones and regulations
- Services and Facilities
- Information about our services, including Computing in the Library, photocopying, InterLibrary Loans, Group Study Rooms and Disability Services
- Help Yourself
- This section replaces the help and advice section. It contains getting started guides, troubleshooting guides and information skills guide. It also houses our new 'Subject Pages' which will replace the Faculty Librarian pages as a launching point for subject based study.
- Ask Us
- This section replaces the 'Contact Us' section and contains contact details for all our staff and services
- Staff and Researches
- Distance Learners
