Music

The Music Department offers a wide range of activities for students who are interested in music, regardless of which degree you are studying for.

Groups on offer include Choir, Orchestra, Wind Band, Big Band, and the Dramatic and Musical Society. A variety of smaller ensembles such as string quartets and brass quintets are also available according to need. Some instruments are available for hire, and advice can be given about private tuition for those who are interested.

The Music Department also offers an exciting series of professional chamber music concerts given at the Third Floor Arts Centre, above the Library in Guildhall Square. For full details, please visit the Music in the Round page.
