The Music Department is open from 8am to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday, and from 8am to 6pm on Fridays, with restricted access from 10am to 5pm at the weekends.
Who are we?
Colin Jagger, Director of Music joined the University in May 2000. His main duties include conducting the University ensembles and providing professional input into the validation of music degrees offered through the Royal Marines School of Music. From September 2002 he has administered the new music elective programme and overseen the introduction of music units now taught as part of the new Creative Arts degrees.
George Burrows, Lecturer in Music joined the University in September 2003. His main duties include the teaching of music units for the new Creative Arts degrees, and assisting with the running of the University ensembles.
Where are we?
The Music Department is located in the Wiltshire Building, with four practice rooms (0.22, 1.12, 2.05, 2.06), two rehearsal spaces (1.08, 1.09), and the Music Department Office (1.13).
