Take advantage of a wide range of health and fitness options available to you through the Department of Sport and Recreation. We encourage you to exercise a minimum of 3 x 30 minutes a week and we have plenty of qualified staff and instructors on hand to help you achieve your fitness goal. We try to provide the best value for money service around and offer you discounted rates at all of our facilities.

With more than 45 health, fitness and well-being classes every week ranging from high energy aerobics, hot cycling and boxercise to more relaxing sessions like yoga and pilates, you will definitely find a class to suit your taste and fitness level. You can choose to drop into one of our pay-as-you-go classes or register on our progressive courses. You will find something that fits with your schedule and lifestyle.

You will find our main fitness suites at St Paul's Sports Centre with a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment as well as a free weights area. Whether you want to improve your physical fitness, lose weight, reduce stress or just feel healthier, the qualified and friendly fitness suite staff will be there to give you help, advice and guidance.
