Langstone Sports Site
The University's Langstone Sports Site offers a range of outdoor sports available to students and members of the public alike. We have recently refurbished our flood-lit Synthetic Turf Pitch (STP) and this, coupled with our newly installed spectator seating, makes Langstone a first-rate sporting facility. The STP is perfect for playing hockey, football and lacrosse all year round.
Our maintenance team ensure that our grass football, lacrosse and rugby pitches are well-maintained and in tip-top condition for you. Langstone is well equipped with a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), including four tennis courts (during season) and four netball courts. This facility is also equipped with powerful floodlights so sport can be played late into the evening.
From playing with friends to large tournaments, we offer a full range of services to meet your requirements. We provide separate facilities for 'home' and 'away' teams both with heated changing rooms and hot showers, and for your safety and added peace of mind, a member of staff who is a qualified first-aider on site.
