Spinnaker Sports Centre

Spinnaker Sports Centre houses a four-court multi-use sports hall that is available for hire throughout our opening hours. The sports hall is joined to our Department of Sport and Exercise Science building and opens up in the biomechanics lab, and also contains force platforms in the floor for performance testing. A strength and conditioning room is also attached to the sports hall.

The Spinnaker Sports Centre has two large studios used for various types of fitness, dance and mind and body classes throughout the day as well as Athletic Union activities.

You will also find two squash courts within the Sports Centre.

Our Sports Management team and Sports Development team are based here as well as our meetings rooms.

Opening Hours

• Term Time: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 22:00; Weekends 10:00 – 17:00
• Vacation: Monday – Friday only 8:00 – 20:00
