Forms and guides
We've provided all the forms you'll need to apply for finance from Student Finance England. It is quicker to apply online, to do this visit Student Finance England. You'll need to register first, and to do this you will need your National Insurance number.
Our Access to Learning Fund/UoP Student Support Fund application form (for current University of Portsmouth home students only) can be found in the Current Students section below.
English students starting university in 2012/13
Students starting their studies in September 2012 can register and apply online by visiting Student Finance England.
English students continuing their course in 2012/13
If you are a current student you can reapply for funding for next year by logging into your account at Student Finance England. If you have previously received funding based on your household income you will need to complete a short reapplication online. If you have previously only received non-income assessed finance and only wish to apply for this again, simply sign and return the declaration that Student Finance England will be sending to you. If you have previously only received non-income assessed finance but now want to apply for funding for next year based on your household income you will need to reapply online.

Current Students
Current full-time UK students who wish to apply for funding for the 2011/12 academic year should apply online via Student Finance England.
Current part-time students who wish to apply for funding for the 2011/12 academic year should complete a PTG1 form
Current students at the University of Portsmouth who are experiencing financial difficulty can apply to the relevant hardship funds using the forms below:

- Access to Learning Fund partner's income form (.doc) Please complete this alongside your application if you live with a partner or spouse who is not a student.
Students studying CertHE Dental Nursing can claim back placement travel costs using the form below:
Once completed these forms should be returned to the Student Finance Centre, along with the necessary photocopied evidence.
Undergraduate EU Students
Current EU students who started their course in 2011 and wish to apply for a tuition fee loan for the 2011/12 academic year should complete an EU11N, which can be requested from the EU Customer Services Team. They can be contacted via telephone between 10.00am and 4.00pm on (+44) (0)141 243 3570.
Current EU students who have applied in previous years should complete an EUPR1 form:
