If you will be starting an undergraduate course in 2013 you can apply for funding from Student Finance England now, you don’t have to wait until you have a confirmed place.
New full-time students can apply online by following these steps:
- setting up a student finance account
- logging into your account and completing the online application form
- sending in evidence, such as proof of your identity or household income, if you're asked for it
- signing and returning the loan declaration you receive in the post
When asked for your course details just use the course you are most likely to choose as your first choice, you can always change this later.
The recommended deadline for new students is 31 May 2013, so complete your application by then to make sure you get your money the first week of term. If you have any questions or want some help with your application contact us.
