Are you thinking of studying a part-time course?

  • Studying part-time for a higher education qualification could boost your career prospects and allow you to earn while you learn.
  • Students starting part-time courses in 2012 who don't already have a degree could be eligible for a tuition fee loan.
  • If you are eligible for a Tuition Fee Loan you do not need the money in the bank to be able to study, and you will not have to repay anything until you are earning over £21,000.
  • If you are eligible, you can borrow up to £6,750 per year to cover your tuition fees.
  • Your monthly repayment will be based on how much you earn, not how much you borrowed.
  • You must study a minimum of 25% of the full-time equivalent course load each year for the duration of your course and you cannot normally hold a qualification at the same or higher level than the one for which you intend to study to be eligible for funding.
