Dr Jane Creaton has been Associate Dean (Academic) for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences since 2010 and is responsible for curriculum development and quality assurance.  In her former role as Principal Lecturer in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice, she published on a range of topics including vulnerable witnesses, the legal profession and criminal justice policy.  Her current research interests relate to academic writing, doctoral education and higher education leadership and management. She contributes to the Professional Doctorate in Criminal Justice, the Professional Doctorate in Education and the Graduate School Development Programme. She is involved in a number of institution wide initiatives relating to degree apprenticeships, the curriculum framework and credit bearing short courses.
