Technology Student Recruitment Centre
The Faculty of Technology at the University of Portsmouth comprises the School of Civil Engineering and Surveying, the School of Computing, the School of Engineering, Mathematics, Learning at Work and the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation. If you're thinking about applying, or if you've applied and been offered a place on any of our undergraduate or postgraduate courses, the Technology Student Recruitment Centre is here to help you.
We organise Open Days and other events that allow you to visit our buildings, view our facilities and meet current staff and students. We're also here to help you from the moment that you accept your offer, through to your induction day. When considering your options for university study or research, there is no substitute for visiting us and getting to know the city.
Our Open Days are the best way to find out what it’s like to live and study in Portsmouth. There’s high demand for Open Days with thousands of visitors attending each year. You need to book a place in advance, so we can send you helpful information on how to get the most out of your day.
Applicant Open Days
Once you’ve applied to Portsmouth and received an offer of a place, we’ll invite you to attend an Applicant Open Day. These differ from University Open Days – they’re subject-specific and led by academic departments.
Postgraduate Information Days
Postgraduate Information Days are held twice a year and give you the opportunity to visit the University, meet with subject tutors and obtain the detailed information you need to consider when studying at postgraduate level with us.
