Technology Student Ambassadors

Our Student Ambassadors are current students who are on courses in the Faculty of Technology (Computing, Civil Engineering and Surveying, Engineering, Mathematics). They are passionate about their subject and the University, and they represent us at Open Days throughout the year when prospective students visit.
Roles and responsibilities are varied and include registering visitors, speaking to prospective students and parents, and giving tours of facilities. Ambassadors are also employed to work on education and outreach events, for example assisting academic staff in running practical workshops for school aged young people.
The role of Technology Student Ambassador enables students to earn while they learn as well as gain valuable work experience.

- confident, honest and reliable;
- friendly and approachable;
- flexible (some weekend/evening work required);
- experienced in customer service with good communication skills?
We're looking for new and current students to assist in the promotion of the Faculty of Technology at course, subject area and faculty level. This could include open days, open campus events, outreach activities or online and social media events.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
Applicants should be available to work on University Open Day on Saturday 2 December 2017.
Rate of pay
£8.44 per hour*
