Your University of Portsmouth experience

The facilities are fantastic, we use the university’s Bloomberg terminals to monitor and analyse real time financial market data.

In addition I have Enterprise resource planning as one of my module where I learn Excel and SAP software. These two software are really useful for the future career since all the companies ask you to be able to work with them.

Also university has a placement office where you will gain an experience of working in real life and solve practical problems by working in actual department.

University also provides a good study support for every problem that you might face through your study career.

Library at University offers a range of good technical facilities such as computers, laptops, MacBook and large screens for preparing the presentation.

I personally love the facilities and teaching in university. Lecturers are so professional and knowledgeable.

The university has really good and friendly atmosphere. There are many clubs and societies where you can join and find friends. There are brilliant socials in each club and societies.

What makes Portsmouth unique?

Portsmouth is really beautiful. It’s near the beach and has a beautiful sunset. I always go for a run by the sea.

City is beautiful especially it gets really fantastic after March.

You can enjoy being in the beach and relaxing away from work and studying.

There is an outlet shopping in Portsmouth city where there are so many famous brands such as Michael Kors and Nike have their products cheaper compared to the other stores.

Your extra-curricular activities

I joined the Street and Break dance society. I love dancing, I joined Street dance society last year and I made such a good friends. We had so many competitions and performances during one year .Also, every Wednesday we go out as a group and dance which is so much fun!!! Sometimes we have some dance performances for charity. Last year we went to London for the RAG charity event where we danced in front of people to raise money.
