Party Walls, Health and Safety and Practical Issues

The concept of a party wall is at first sight relatively straight forward but in reality is highly complex. Legislation in the form of the Party Wall Act 1996 forms a basis for the management/development of a party wall but there are many other issues to consider.

The course covers:

  • the legislation
  • access
  • health and safety issues
  • development issues
  • the practical considerations.

Graham Dewey is a building surveyor and a health and safety specialist with enormous and wide- ranging professional experience. He has specialised in health and safety work for major NHS trusts as well as many other institutions.
