Frequently Asked Questions

Will I receive a reminder when my books are due back?
  • The Library sends out a courtesy reminder email two working days before a 4 week loan or 7 day loan item is due for return. This courtesy service is not offered for inter-library loans or short loans.
Please remember that this reminder email is a courtesy service only and must be in addition to your own record keeping of the dates your library items are due for return. Failure to receive an email reminder is not a valid reason for having overdue loans.
  • We will email you a series of 'overdue notices' about your overdue loans.

Please check your University email account regularly as this is where your Library notices will be sent.

What happens if one of my items is recalled?
  • We will send you a recall notice for any items on your library account that have been recalled for another library user.
  • View our FAQ section for more information about recalls.
