- You can pay in person by cash, credit/debit card or cheque accompanied by a cheque card.
- You can post a cheque, made payable to "University of Portsmouth Library" to the Library. Please include a return address, so we can forward your receipt to you.
- You can pay by credit/debit card via the University's Online Store.
- You can pay for outstanding fines and for item replacement charges if you are a student or if you are a member of staff / External user.
- You can pay for invoices sent by the University Finance Office for library items if you are a current or former student or if you are a current or former member of staff or External user.
- You will need to set up an account for the Online Store the first time you use it.

- If you pay your outstanding charges after 12pm then your library account will be updated by 10am the next day.[Mon-Fri]
Please use webpay only if:
- You have renewed your loans and you are paying an outstanding charge. If you haven't renewed your loans , the fines will continue to go up.
- You are not coming into the Library yourself in the very near future. Don't forget that the payment to the Library is not immediate - there is a small delay.
Don't forget that you can continue to renew your existing loans, online or in person or by phone, even if you have fines outstanding.
If there are any extenuating circumstances that lead to your incurring fines, please ask to speak to one of the senior members of staff at the Issue Desk in confidence.
