SELF SERVICE TERMINALS: Q-JUMP
Q-Jump enables Library users to issue and return their own loans.
Q-Jump is set up with the aim of reducing queues at the Issue Desk at busy times: i.e. operating when the Library is staffed.
It is also available after the closure of the issue desk.
Availability is 0800 - 2400, Monday - Sunday during semester time.
Library staff are available if you need help using the Q-Jump terminal, which is sited near the Issue Desk on the ground floor of the University Library.
Q-Jump scans the mifare chip in your campus card. Many of our existing External readers do not have a campus card, but will be changing their library card to a mifare-enabled card from September 2009. Until your library card has been changed, External readers are unable to use these terminals. New External applicants will be issued a campus card automatically.
