We have two types of software available for loan:

Software that accompanies books in stock.

If a book you are borrowing has a piece of accompanying software, this will be affixed to the front cover of the book and can be borrowed at the same time as the book.

Stand-alone software.

This includes various programs and systems that can be loaded onto your own computer, which are held as part of the University?s licensing deals with the software supplier. These programs are kept behind the Issue Desk and can be borrowed on request. You can search for this software using the library catalogue: type the program name in the "Title" search field (e.g. SPSS).

Some of these stand-alone programs are available to staff only (because of the licensing requirements of the supplier, they cannot be lent to students):
Staff Only Software.

Software available to all staff and students includes SPSS Statistics. You will have to complete a SPSS Copyright Acknowledgement when you borrow SPSS from the Library.
