The following computer software is available for loan to University staff for installation on their home computers or laptops.

• SPSS statistics - current version [released annually] and previous version

You can search for this software using the library catalogue: type the program name and number you require (e.g. SPSS 20) in the search field.

The discs may be borrowed from the Library Issue Desk.

• You will have to complete a SPSS Copyright Acknowledgement when you borrow SPSS from the Library.

(These are also available to loan to UoP students).

Microsoft Products

The Microsoft Campus Agreement enables University of Portsmouth staff to install copies of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows Operating System on either a home or portable computer for work-related purposes only. The cost for each CD is £10 plus VAT.
If you are a member of UoP staff and would like to take advantage of this service please check here for advice on how to obtain these copies.
The Library does not hold copies of these CDs for loan.

The software is available under University site licences to members of staff on condition that the software is used in the furtherance of their University work, studies or research. The borrower is responsible for installing and running the software. The University does not provide support for the software on home computers nor may the University be held responsible for changes that may occur to these computers during the installation or use of the software.
