Oxford Journals

Oxford University Press is pleased to announce the delivery of mobile-optimized websites for its full range of journals websites, powered by the HighWire Press electronic publishing platform.  All Oxford journals now have a mobile-optimized version of their full website that can be accessed via multiple mobile devices.

 Taylor and Francis Online Mobile

Taylor & Francis has created Taylor & Francis Online Mobile which provides mobile access to the 1,600 Journals and Reference Works available via Taylor & Francis Online

Getting started on Taylor & Francis Online Mobile involves simply typing the url www.tandfonline.com into the browser of a mobile device.  There is also help and instructions available to get users started at http://www.tandfonline.com/page/help/mobile.

Taylor & Francis Mobile is a mobile optimized website often referred to as a ‘web app’.  You do not need to go to an ‘app store’ to obtain the mobile version simply open the browser.

The mobile site works on the following versions of Android, iPhone and Blackberry:

  • iPhone and iPod devices running OS 3.2 or later
  • iPad 3.2.2 or later
  • Android 2.2 or later
  • BlackBerry OS 6 (including the Torch 9800)
  • BlackBerry Tablet OS devices (including PlayBook)

Bridgeman Education for your iPhone

This app gives you access to Bridgeman Education's database of over 330,000 images from galleries, museums and private collections across the world. The app allows you to search the resource, view images and their metadata, and create and save slide shows.
The app is available at the app store on your iPhone 4, iTouch, or iPad or via iTunes. Requires iOS 4.1 or later.

Cambridge Journals Online Mobile (CJOm)

Those who regularly use a small mobile device to access Cambridge Journals Online (CJO), will find it far quicker and easier with new CJO Mobile (CJOm).

  • CJOm has been optimised for smartphones and other small mobile devices
  • Streamlined design and low resolution images offer increased speed and convenience
  • If CJOm users sign up for content alerts, or save searches or articles, these will be available on CJO and vice versa
  • Mobile devices are detected and automatically directed to CJOm

Mobile users will be redirected from CJO to CJOm at:

CJOm also functions as a low bandwidth version of CJO
