Library Induction Sessions
Get to know your Faculty Librarian and hear about our online resources by attending your induction session (see below)
Library Induction
Library induction takes place during the whole of October and November so don't worry if you don't get anything in the first 2 weeks! Some students will find information about the library in their study skills handbooks and year 1 tutors will normally have arranged a session with the Faculty Librarian to make sure that new students hear about what the Library has to offer. If you find that no sessions have been arranged for your department and you need help, please contact your Faculty Librarian.
If you have a question, just ask! In the first few weeks we'll have staff around the building ready to answer your queries (look out for the distinctive shirts), but if you can't spot them, don't hesitate to ask staff at any of our enquiry desks.
