Digimap Registration
The Sub-Licence agreement states that in order to access and use the data you must be an "Authorised User". This means that you must satisfy all three of the following conditions:
- be registered as a current student, faculty member or employee of a subscribing institution
- be permitted to access the subscribing institution's electronic resources
- and be registered with EDINA's Digimap service
How to register
The registration process is simple and it will take you only a few minutes to enter your details. It can take up to 2 working days for EDINA to process your registration, so don't leave it until the day you have to hand in your piece of coursework!

Go to: http://edina.ac.uk/digimap.

Click the Login via UK federation button.

Choose University of Portsmouth from the list and click the Select button.

Enter your University username (eg. cam32768) and password and click the Login button.

On the Digimap Data Collection page, select Digimap – Ordnance Survey Collection.

Read the terms and conditions printed on the next web page and click the CONTINUE button at the bottom of the page.

If you DO NOT have an active Digimap registration, you will be prompted to register with your current login details:

Complete and confirm your personal details on the web registration page. Make sure that you provide your correct University email address.

Print the resulting personal registration page and keep it for your records. Your details will be entered into EDINA's database. Note that your registration will take up to 2 working days to be processed. You will be notified by email when your registration is complete.

All users are automatically added to a JISCmail list called Digimap-forum which provides a discussion forum for Digimap users to share experiences and ideas. Members of the list can send email to the list by sending a message to:
