Ebrary – lost your bookshelf?

Following a software upgrade, all of our users have been assigned new Ebrary identities. To recover your personal bookshelf, you need to get it transferred from your old identity to the new one.

To ask Ebrary to make the transfer, you need to know both your old and your new identity.

Your Old Identity

portsmouth_shib_youruniversityusername (change youruniversityusername for your username), for example portsmouth_shib_icj12345

Your New Identity

To locate your new identity you need to:

• Log in to Ebrary
• Note your new Ebrary ID, a long character string at the top of the page:

Request the transfer

Email support@ebrary.com asking them to transfer your bookshelf from the old ID to the new one, for example

from portsmouth_shib_icj12345 to portsmouth_shib_drmkdhwtk2f46fm48exgevlwuqws3d
