• The Economist : Historical archive
• Economists Online
  Economists Online with academic publications and datasets and co-funded by the European Union, contains over 900,000 bibliographic references, many with links to open access full text
• Global forecasting service
• RePEc [Research papers in economics]
• Science direct
  In spite of its name, this database has thousands of articles on economic topics and some full-text handbooks too.
