Business Information Systems - Suggested Databases

The following databases are suggested as good starting points for finding Business Information Systems materials. This list is not exhaustive, and you may find other databases more suited to your needs.

• Business source complete
  Good place to search for articles from professional journals not found on Google Scholar as well as academic articles. Click on the peer-reviewed button if you only want academic articles.
• Emerald fulltext
  Emerald journals are all from the same publisher. Best results found if you do an advanced search. There you can also choose to search just for case studies or literature reviews. Click on Journal of the Week for free weekly access to two of Emerald's journals.
• Engineering Village (Compendex, Inspec)
  This is a huge database which will give you articles and conference papers from IT journals not covered by Business Source Premier
• IEEE Xplore
  This database is campus use only, so you will need to set up the webcache to view it off campus. Good for conference papers
• Science direct
  in spite of its name, this database has thousands of articles on on business and management topics including enterprise and information systems.
