There are a wide range of resources available to Creative Technologies students beyond the obvious journals, databases and websites. Here we list a selection we think you'll find useful.

  • Human Photo References for 3D Artists and Game Developers
    A database of images and clips to assist in the production of 3D characters for cinematic sequences and next generation game characters.
  • JISC Media Hub
    Search, view, and download thousands of video, image and audio resources from many different collections covering news, documentaries, popular culture and much more
  • Naxos Music Library
    A recorded music database of more than 735,000 tracks. Genres include classical, jazz, folk, blues, nostalgia, world, folk, Chinese, rock and pop.
  • Rhino House
    Provides access to thousands of animal and human motion clips.
  • Stash
    Online video library of animation VFX and motion design.

Newspapers

  • Nexis UK
    Search for and read international newspaper articles from 1980s/90s to the present.

Reading lists may have been prepared by your lecturer specifically for your course.
