Computing - Suggested Databases

The following databases are suggested as good starting points for finding Computing materials. This list is not exhaustive, and you may find other databases more suited to your needs.

  • ACM Digital Library
    Full text of every article published by the Association for Computing Machinery. Some conference proceedings are available full text as well. Must be used on campus or off campus via the Webcache.
  • Computer and Information Systems Abstracts
    Indexes to journal articles, conference proceedings, books and websites in computer and information systems.
  • Construction Information Service
    Database freely available via the internet of papers in physics, maths, computer science and more.
  • Enginnering Village
    Indexes to journal articles and conference proceedings for a wide range of topics including computing.
  • IEEE Xplore
    Full text of technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics.
  • Science Direct
    This is a large collection of science, technology and medicine related full-text and bibliographic information.
