Whether you are considering employment or a year out you can refer to a range of people to help you plan your next step. As well as getting advice from tutors the following organisations will be able to help you:

Careers and Recruitment
Where students choose to leave the course before completion of their studies they are offered careful counselling and guidance on future decisions. You will be given a separate leaflet at your Library induction which also covers this information.

Connexions Service
The Connexions Service is currently available for young people, in the 13-19 age bracket (up to 25 for clients with disabilities.) For those requiring Adult careers guidance services, then the University is able to help students and graduates (plus graduates of other institutions) up to five years after graduation.
