Computers
All registered students can use the School's computers for research and coursework. In order to do so, students must first get their ID and password by seeing one of the support staff in room 1.118 (remember to bring your campus card). When you have these, you can log-on and use the computers.
Every student has an allocated email address. You can use email to send and receive messages.
Internet
All Art, Design and Media students have access to the Internet at any time they are logged-on. We have access to the Internet via Janet', which is for academic purposes only. Students are not allowed to advertise or publish for commercial purposes.
Log-on, then use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
Notice boards
Most courses/study programmes display information on notice boards. Students should check these frequently.
University Library
You can visit and use the University Library in the traditional way or you can visit the library website at www.port.ac.uk/library. You can find, reserve and renew books online but you still need to walk over there to get them!
