Venue: Southsea Library Gallery (above Southsea Library) Palmerston Road, Southsea
CCI Space OFFSITE Programme, in collaboration with Arts Council England, Portsmouth City Council, CIBAS and Sue Ryder presents the exhibition Off the Shelf.
Off the Shelf is an exhibition using books as inspiration by CCI staff members Jon Adams, Steve Oliver and Sarah Tunaley, and MA Fine Art student and staff member Ginny Topp.
The group of staff members won a Grant for the Arts Award for this exhibition and to run a series of book-making workshops with local community groups which aim to involve people in art and reading, as well as to encourage visits to local galleries and libraries.
In addition to the workshops with the community groups, there are three book-making workshops available for the general public to sign up to on the following dates:
- Saturday 11 August: 10.00am-12.00pm and 2.00pm-4.00pm
- Thursday 16 August: 5.00pm-7.00pm
