Student opportunities

Paid work

At the University of Portsmouth, we work hard to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds into higher education and our existing students play a key role in helping us to achieve this.

Within the University's Marketing and Communications Department we offer a variety of paid and voluntary roles working with young people - in particular those whose families have no experience of college and university.

Working with young people is both varied and rewarding. It could be delivering activities in schools and colleges as a Student Ambassador, or working with a group of students for up to two weeks at a University Summer School. Perhaps you would prefer the one to one role of a Mentor, or the flexibility of helping out in the office or at University events as a
Student Marketing Assistant (SMA)?
