The School of Creative Technologies at the University of Portsmouth, maintains an audio recording studio for use by students and staff.

Our facility provides access to four specific studio spaces including a 32 channel analogue TL Audio VTC console with a selection of outboard including Maslec and Manley solid state and valve equipment. There is a Protools digital suite with Digidesign control 24 Console. Plus two smaller rooms with ProTools LE and 003 hardware.

The School invites applications from suitable candidates with knowledge and understanding of analogue and digital recording processes, which are essential to this role, who also possess basic project management skills such as planning and scheduling. Applicants must be on their work experience or gap year from undertaking a relevant degree at the University of Portsmouth.
