As a student studying a University of Portsmouth programme through one of our Collaborative Partners, in the UK or Overseas, we welcome you to the University of Portsmouth.
The University of Portsmouth has a strong tradition of successfully delivering collaborative programmes and supporting students through collaborative partner institutions across the world. The University currently has over 25 collaborative partner institutions with more than 4000 students studying on these programmes.

Library access
All students are entitled to register for a Network Account which will enable you to gain access to the University's Student Portal, online Library services, other intranet services and to setup a University email account. This Network Account can be used to cover a range of information to support your programme, including electronic books and journals, databases and websites. You will be sent details of how to apply for a Network Account upon registration.
Graduation
Unless otherwise stated, students studying on a collaborative programme may attend the University of Portsmouth graduation ceremony, which is usually held in July each year, and is applicable to eligible awards only.
Some UK and overseas partners hold their own graduation ceremonies; however you may also attend the University of Portsmouth graduation ceremony. Please refer to your partner institution for further details. Alternatively, contact the University Graduation Office
Parchments
For all awards made by the University of Portsmouth to students registered on a collaborative programme, the Collaborative Programmes Office (CPO) is responsible for the production and distribution of award parchments, the verification of awards of graduates and the archiving of this data.
Unless specific alternative arrangements have been agreed with a Partner Institution, all parchments are sent via (International) Recorded Delivery direct to the Partner Institution for onward distribution to you. If you wish to trace your parchment, please contact your Partner Institution in the first instance
Replacement parchments may be requested and there is a charge of £35 (thirty five pounds sterling) for the replacement parchment (payable by cheque or credit card) and £10 (ten pounds sterling) for each further copy of the same award request made at the same time. To apply for a replacement parchment you will need to complete an application form and return it by post or fax to the CPO Parchments Administrator, Helen Ingram , with the appropriate payment to the address/fax number on the form.
Please note: if you require a change of name to be printed on the parchment, proof of change of name will be required, eg. birth certificate, passport, marriage certificate, deed documentation.
