This is a part-catered Hall and the kitchenettes are only suitable for preparing light meals and snacks. Each kitchenette is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, mini oven with hob, and a kettle. Students using this facility must provide their own cooking and eating utensils.
These are self-catered accommodations and will have a shared kitchen facility but students must provide their own food, cooking, and eating utensils. Each kitchen has an oven, hob, two fridge/freezers, microwave, and a food preparation and seating area.
Each student is given a cupboard to store food, utensils, crockery, and cutlery. You will share the refrigerator with other students but usually each group agree to have their own or part of a shelf for their fresh items. Students should also provide tea towels and washing up equipment.
All students using shared facilities must keep appliances such as cookers and fridges clean. After using the kitchen, please leave it as you would wish to find it.
You must clean the dining area after use and take with you your dining utensils so other students can use the room if they wish.
Rees Hall and Burrell House offer an all-inclusive meal package (term-time only) consisting of 14 meals per week. There is a wide variety of meals choices offered at every sitting, including Vegetarian options.
All meals for Rees Hall and Burrell House are served in the dining room at Rees Hall.
