The Halls of Residence at the University of Portsmouth make up a large community with almost 3,000 students living in both catered and self catered accommodation. Our operations naturally have an impact on the environment and we are committed to maintaining, and wherever possible improving, its quality both for the people who live and work in and around the Halls and for the wider community. It is the responsibility of all of us to work together to minimise our impact on the environment.
The University's commitment is reflected in policies which seek to make the most effective and efficient use of all resources, encouraging all members of the University community to develop an ecologically sound approach to their work and lifestyle.
