Mix and Match
What is Mix and Match?
It's a social networking scheme run by the International Office. The scheme is to help new and current students meet and talk about anything from daily life in the UK to course lectures. We have over 1100 members from around the world and, who knows, you could make a friend for life!
Why join?
It's free and you will:
- Make friends from around the world
- Meet current students
- Learn about other cultures
- Practise your language skills
- Find a course buddy
- Be the first to be informed of events and coach trips organised by the International Office
- Meet staff from the International Office
- Be able to volunteer to help with events - this will look great on your CV!
What type of events are on offer?
We run events throughout the academic year that encourage our members to make friends and learn about other cultures. We have held cooking competitions, sporting events and cultural exhibitions. We also hold monthly cafés where you can meet informally with other members and discuss all matters of interest over a free cup of coffee!
