Maths Café

Free one-to-one help with Maths, available to ALL students:

  • Any Student
  • Any Course
  • Any Faculty
  • Any Year

The Maths Café is a daily drop in facility, where ANY student of the University can receive help on any maths or stats problem they encounter in their studies. For enquiries please email mathscafe@port.ac.uk

We offer:

  • Friendly, informal environments
  • Daily drop-in sessions
  • Help with any maths or stats query
  • One-to-one support to solve your problem
  • Handouts on key topics
  • Computer-aided learning material

The Centre is open every weekday, 12-2pm.

The Maths Café Centre has a wider variety of support material available to reference or take away. The Centre has its own suite of computers, video tutorial facilities, and there is ample work space, including a dedicated student work area.
