Marketing and Sales

Postgraduate Opportunities

The Marketing and Sales Subject Group provides a range of opportunities for doctoral study and welcomes enquiries from anyone thinking about doctoral level research. Whether you want advice about your proposal or discuss what’s involved in doctoral study in a marketing topic, we invite you to contact us to find out more.

Our current students are working on a range of exciting research studies, ranging from investigating attitudes towards advertising in the Middle East to understanding consumer experiences in the cruise holiday market. While each research topic is unique, all students benefit from the active research community offered within the subject group.

We have an international community of doctoral students studying both full and part-time and provide all our students with a vibrant research environment within which to develop. As well as workshops and research training provided by the Graduate School Development Programme you will be invited to participate in subject group research seminars and research groups.

If you are interested in doctoral level study we invite you to contact us. We are particularly interested in research enquiries about study in the following topics:

  • Advertising
  • Consumer Behaviour
  • Country of origin effect
  • Digital Marketing
  • Sales Management
  • Sustainability/green marketing

You are encouraged to look at our current doctoral students and our research staff. You may also like to see some of our publication outputs.
