Two-year courses

If you are studying a full-time Master’s courses over two years you will receive the scholarship in the first year only.

Limited places are available for this scholarship. Therefore, eligibility does not guarantee you will receive a scholarship.

You will be required to meet the usual specific entry criteria for postgraduate courses. We will give priority to students who demonstrate the highest academic achievement from low household incomes.

If you receive this Master’s Scholarship you will not be entitled to the Alumni Scholarship or any other University scholarship.

Make sure you read and understand the Master’s Scholarship terms and conditions before you accept, as an alternative University scholarship may be more suitable for you.

How to apply

To be considered for a Master’s Scholarship you need to have accepted an offer on an eligible Master’s course by 30 June 2017.

You do not need to do a separate application for the Master’s Scholarship – we will let you know whether or not you are successful.

We will allocate scholarships in early July 2017 once the final degree classifications are known. You do not have to accept it if another University scholarship is more suitable for you.

The University's decision on the allocation of the scholarship is in accordance with the terms and conditions and is final. There is no appeals process.
