Get £2,000 off your Master's Course tuition fee
You could get £2,000 off your course tuition fee when you do a Master's course at the University of Portsmouth in 2018/19.
You can use this scholarship alongside the Government Postgraduate Loan scheme.
To be considered for this Master’s Scholarship you must:
- Be a UK student who is set to complete an undergraduate degree in 2018
- Apply for a full-time MA, MSc, MPA, MRes or LLM course and accept an offer on it by 30 June 2018
- Achieve a first class or upper second class honours degree
- Not be a current University of Portsmouth student (current final year students can apply for this Master's Scholarship instead)

If you're studying a full-time Master’s course over two years you'll receive the scholarship in the first year only.
There are a limited number of these Master's Scholarships available. So we can't guarantee you'll get one if you're eligible.
You'll need to meet the specific entry criteria for the course you want apply for. We give priority to students who show the highest academic achievement from low household incomes.
You can only get one University of Portsmouth scholarship. For example, this Master’s Scholarship or the Alumni Scholarship – not both.
How to apply
We'll let you know how to apply for the Master's Scholarship after you apply for your Master's course.
To be considered for the scholarship, you need to accept an offer on a full-time MA, MSc, MPA, MRes or LLM course by 30 June 2018.
You'll find out if you're successful in early July 2018. You don't have to accept the Master's Scholarship if another University scholarship is more suitable for you.
The University's decision on the allocation of the scholarship is in accordance with the terms and conditions and is final. There's no appeals process.
