Biography

I obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where I investigated biomechanics of surface replacement of hip joint (2006-2010). Thereafter, I joined the Mechanical Engineering Department (Biomechanics group) at Imperial College London as a Research Associate to work on a research project on developing novel implants for human hip and knee joint, sponsored by the Wellcome Trust and EPSRC, UK. In January 2015, I moved to Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, as a Research Fellow in the Medical Engineering Research Group. I joined the University of Portsmouth as a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in May 2015.
