Biography

I completed my BSc (Hons) in Information Systems Management with first class from the University of London (external programme) in 2002,  followed by a Masters in IT from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (India) with Grade A (70%+), and a MSc in Information Systems from LSE with merit. I started working at the University of Portsmouth in 2003, completed a PGCert in HE in 2005, and started a PhD at the Department of International Development at the LSE in 2006 (part time), completing it in 2013. In my BSc and MSc I have worked on IS and complexity theory, IS failure, gender and IS. My PhD though was in development studies, and my current research focuses on economic development, comparative politics, South Asian studies and Indian politics.  

Teaching Responsibilities

I have taught a range of course over the years. These include a range of modules:  EBusiness, Strategic Information Systems, Information Systems Development and Management, Business Telecommunications, Operations Research, Statistics and Data Analysis, Basic Programming and IT skills, along with dissertation supervision.

I have also performed a range of administrative duties, including admissions tutor, year tutor, open & preview day coordinator etc.  

Research

My current research project includes working on a monograph based on my PhD.  I also have a number of papers under review in different journals.
